Henley RFC is the leading rugby club in the Thames Valley. After spending eight of the last ten years in National Leagues 1 & 2 they were relegated to National 3 (South) for this season. Jason Forster, the former Welsh International, was appointed Director of Rugby in February 2008 and since then he has formed a young squad for 2008/09, with an average age of 24, to take the club to close to the top of the league with promotion the target for 2009/10. |
Apart from two senior teams there is Women's XV in National League 1 and a colts side that play in the 3 counties league, whilst the mini/junior teams (7/17) have a membership of 400 who are in action at Dry Leas every Sunday morning.
